Jeanette Reed, President, founded Evolutions in Business in 1989 to provide outsourced consultation and training to corporations. Ms. Reed has trained over 10,000 different individuals on Export Compliance, ITAR and EAR, Export Documentation, Letters of Credit and USMCA (NAFTA) and other free trade agreements. Evolutions in Business has stayed out front with changes in Export Reform, National Defense Authorization Acts, CFIUS, and NIST 800-171, Cyber Security CMMC (DFARS 7012). Training and consultation has been provided to companies engaged in the international trade of highly technical commodities of manufacture, both commercial and military. Ms. Reed and her company, Evolutions in Business has had strategic alliances with a number of different freight forwarders over the years and has engaged in public speaking events for Massport, New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center (ITRC), N.E. National Defense Industry Association (NDIA), The Oklahoma Aerospace Alliance and U.S. Small Business Development. She has received numerous commendations for her course work in this specialized field. Officers of the New England office of Export Enforcement and ICE have recognized Ms. Reed as a leader in export compliance training. Prior to establishing her business, Ms. Reed worked in Management at various corporations engaged in Freight Logistics or Advanced Technology and Manufacturing including, OCEANAIR, Inc. Cambridge Medical Technologies, Kurzweil Music Systems, Inc. and IPL Systems

Nicolette has gained the respect of both customers and colleagues alike for her public speaking skills as well as her acumen of ITAR and EAR regulations. Nicolette has given presentations on the Export Regulations throughout New England at places like Bryant University in Rhode Island, the The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, and the Division of Economic Development Department of Business and Economic Affairs in New Hampshire.
Nicolette has been working in Export Compliance alongside her mentor, Jeanette Reed for many years. Prior to rejoining Evolutions In Business in 2009 she was a paralegal assistant at a law firm. Nicolette Reed first started working for Evolutions In Business in 1997 as a Customer Service Representative and an administrative assistant, while she attended Nashoba Valley Technical High School for Graphic Design. Nicolette still utilizes much of what she learned in Graphic Design for designing flyers, newsletters, presentations and other marketing materials for the company.
Upon graduation in 2000, while still working for Evolutions in Business, Nicolette established herself as a formal event DJ and MC throughout the New England area and she now owns her own DJ Company, Red Tie Entertainment, a registered trademark.
Nicolette is also active in her local communities. She has been on the Chelmsford, Massachusetts Skate Park Committee for 3 years fundraising and renovating the Skate Park. She is also on the newly formed Dog Park Committee in Townsend, Massachusetts. In the past she has She has volunteered with a group called Positive Street Art (PSA) of Nashua, New Hampshire. This is a non-profit organization striving to inspire passion for urban arts in a productive way & build stronger communities through educational workshops, community events & artistic services. In addition, she also donates her DJ services to local non-profits or community events a few times each year.

Regulatory Analyst

Melissa graduated from Katharine Gibbs in 2000 and began her career in Administrative work. She spent the next 10 years moving up the ranks from filing clerk, secretary to becoming a personal administrative assistant. In 2010 she left the corporate workforce to grow her family and raise her four children. During her time at home with her children, Melissa owned and operated her own retail clothing business. In 2021 Melissa joined EIB as a Regulatory Analyst and has been working with our clients to help them build a robust Export Compliance Program. Melissa is a creative and critical thinker and has a passion for thinking outside of the box. She has strong communications skills and looks forward to helping clients feel confident about their Export Compliance Programs. In her spare time she enjoys Crossfit, spending time with her family and volunteering for various non-profit organizations.
